Computer-Controlled Precision. Consistently Delivered.
CNC machining removes the variables of manual fabrication. Every cut, drill, and profile is controlled by computer — delivering repeatable accuracy across single components and production batches alike. At Steelrite, our CNC machining capability allows us to produce complex, high-tolerance components that standard fabrication methods cannot achieve — to your exact specification, on time, and to the standard your application demands.
Drawing Review & Programming
We begin every CNC machining job by reviewing your engineering drawings, CAD files, or technical specifications in detail. Our team programs the CNC equipment to your exact requirements — ensuring every dimension, tolerance, and surface finish is captured before machining begins. If you don’t have formal drawings, we can work from samples or detailed briefs.
Material Selection
We work with a range of materials depending on the application and performance requirements — including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and other engineering metals. We advise on the most appropriate material grade, hardness, and finish specification for your component before machining begins.
CNC Machining & Quality Control
All components are machined on our CNC equipment to exact tolerances. Every dimension is checked against your drawings during and after machining — ensuring the finished component meets your specification before it leaves our Cape Town workshop. We maintain strict quality control at every stage of the machining process.
Finishing & Delivery
Machined components are finished to your specification — including deburring, surface treatment, painting, or coating where required. Completed components are carefully packaged and delivered to your site or facility on time and in perfect condition.
Tight Tolerances. Zero Compromise.
In precision engineering, a fraction of a millimetre matters. Components that don’t meet tolerance either don’t fit, don’t perform, or fail prematurely — costing time and money to replace. At Steelrite, our CNC machining capability is built around one principle: your component must meet the specification, first time, every time. We don’t ship components that don’t pass our quality checks — and we don’t ask our clients to accept anything less than what they specified.
How We Deliver Your CNC Machining Project
Drawing Review & Quotation
We review your engineering drawings, CAD files, or technical specifications and provide a detailed quotation based on your exact requirements. All tolerances, material grades, and finish specifications are confirmed before machining begins.
CNC Programming & Setup
Our team programs the CNC equipment to your exact specifications. Material is sourced, checked for compliance, and set up on the machine — ready for precision machining to begin.
Precision Machining & Quality Control
All components are machined to exact tolerances with quality checks at each stage of the process. Every finished component is measured and checked against your drawings before leaving our workshop.
Finishing, Packaging & Delivery
Completed components are finished, carefully packaged, and delivered to your site or facility on time and in perfect condition — ready for immediate use or further assembly.
